About Our Workstations

Why do we ask you to bring your own workstation? Simply, it's because you'll be most comfortable working in your own familiar environment. That does not mean that you have to have a laptop to take our courses. We are happy to provide a fully functioning workstation for any student that does not have a laptop they can bring. We encourage you to bring a laptop if you can, but by no means is it required. We simply need to know ahead of time if you will need us to provide a workstation for you. Any software we ask you to install on your own computer is open-source and/or free software, and is scanned ahead of time to guarantee it is virus and spyware free.
