Where is all the site content? WDA is undergoing an overhaul.

We've been promising a site upgrade for weeks - the downside of a growing web business means that our clients get all our time, leaving our own site upgrade on the back burner. So rather than wait for a full roll out, we're putting out the site shell and adding parts one at a time, until it's complete. Slowly, the links will begin to activate and you'll be able to access richer content. It's much like watching a building go up in your neighborhood - you get to see it in all it's phases, even the "not so pretty" ones. So even as content goes in, the design is in progress so it might be a bit messy in parts. In the meantime, please feel free to contact us at 303-552-8821, or by email - wda.denver@gmail.com.

who we are and what we do

The Web Design Academy of Denver exists not just to create, but also to educate. Along with our full service web design and development studio, we offer training classes in the field of web design for individuals and corporations. Students learning from us are learning from professional, working designers. We believe we can provide the best of both worlds - a website that functions at the highest level while visually representing your company the best way possible, or training from our professional designers that gives you the skills to keep your web presence at the top of its game.

learn more about our classes

Students that take our classes are sometimes graphic designers looking to expand their skillset, others are entreprenuers looking to create a site for their own business. Either way, we offer classes that teach a solid foundation, building a skillset that makes sense. In addition to the standard classroom environment, we offer online courses taught live via a state-of-the-art presentation system, self-paced video courses, and weekend seminars. All our classes are geared toward giving our students the most practical, current information available. Learn More

Welcome New Client - Waypoint City

waypoint-citycom-logo

Waypoint City has hired us to build from scratch a niche community site for users of handheld and car-mounted GPS units. This site will include plenty of information, as well as social networking features (friends, groups, forums, etc). The owner and founder of Waypoint City is already well-known and respected in the community of GPS users, and we’re glad he’s brought us on board to help launch this exciting new online community. Target launch date for site beta is June 1.

Welcome New Client - Noel & Krieger, LLP

We’re excited to be adding to our roster the law firm of Noel & Krieger, LLP. Noel & Krieger is a specialty firm, handling SSDI and ERISA cases. They are one of very few firms in Colorado that handles cases like this (ERISA), so we are looking forward to working with an industry leader to help bring their brand even further to the forefront. Look for the completed site sometime in late spring of this year.

Welcome New Client: Boulder Soupworks

Boulder Soupworks Logo

We are pleased to announce that WDA will be working with Boulder Soupworks to redesign their website. BSW soups are locally made, organic pre-packaged soups that you can now find at Whole Foods. We are excited to be able to put our stamp on this up and coming brand.

Adding to the sizzle of this project is that we are partnering with a Boulder-based graphic designer Kelly Wengert (www.dashofhotsauce.com). Kelly has worked on several high-end design and branding projects, and we look forward to partnering with her on this project.

Keep your eyes open for the completed Boulder Soupworks website in our portfolio in mid-April. And swing on over to Whole Foods stores in Boulder or Superior to check out the soup while you’re at it! I tried the roasted tomato basil last night, and it was excellent.
